..and the HACKER chose me

Last week, when I tried to log in at Christyclix, I got the message: "LOGIN ERROR! There was a problem signing". I immediately sent a ticket which was responded by Christy in a matter of hours which I have read the following day already due to time difference. Her reply was that there was no problem with my account, I may have just entered my password incorrectly. She advised me to enter my password slowly. So the next day, I (carefully) did exactly as told but to my dismay, I still can't log in. So I tried to retrieve my password by requesting it be sent to my email address. When checked my inbox (and junk) I didn't receive my password. Again, I sent a ticket. This time I discovered something odd--I didn't receive an auto confirmation message from the site. I then remembered, so was for the ticket the day before that. Christy then decided to reset my password and sent it to my email at PTCWorld. Finally, I was able to log in! But guess what I found out? There was a current request for cashout when I can't recall I've already requested. So I checked the portion where it all says everything:

Pending Paypal filipp2006@yahoo.com $0.00 $2.17
Cancelled Alertpay crysty_bloodsss@yahoo.com $0.00 $2.14

I was so relieved when I cancelled this: Pending, Paypal, filipp2006@yahoo.com, $0.00, $2.17.
But I felt a lot before getting to that point, including (most of all) feeling stupid. :(

I told Christy I wasn't cashing out for the mean time. I wanted to change my password and my email address before requesting for a payout.

The End. (So I thought..)

Last night, after clicking all ads at Sassyclix, I decided to purchase something. I opted for the Alertpay since Peggy will give a discount if you purchase using Alertpay. When I entered my password, it said my password was wrong. I was having that feeling again. History repeats itself! I tried requesting for my password to be sent to my email but it said that there was no email address found for any of the accounts they have on their system. So I sent a ticket. Luckily, the transfer that this "crysty_bloodsss@yahoo.com" (again! -- I hope you'll toast in****) requested was reversed. I just need to verify my account by submitting proofs that I am who I am.

Moral lessons of my story?
1. Make your password challenging! If you think you're giving yourself a hard time, think about
giving the thieves real good time by creating easy-to-predict passwords. Tip: Don't make it the
same as your log in/username. (Yes, you guessed it right..lol. I used to have mine..)
2. It pays to choose a good site--a real paying one, one that gives good value for your clicks,
and most of all, a very responsive admin.

I'll continue my moral lessons tomorrow. I got to click!
